This is a painting of Israel “Reefa” Hernandez. Painted around that time. I remember hearing the news and thinking “That could have easily been me”. Now everyone who looks at this piece thinks it is. Long live the youth.

I used a lil blood for the square cut on the chest. This was supposed to be a part of a 2 piece series where the other piece is inside that square chunk. It’s somewhere in the world. The paint is thick and cracked around the edges from surviving the maelstrom.
